I have been awful and neglected my blog as of late... but ....with so much to get done and so little time it's been....CRAZY! Anywho, isn't is fun to remember those childhood dreams and a little sad too that we didn't become the superhero, rockstar, etc? That's why we have Halloween however...a day to be exactly what we always wanted. Then again...maybe you are a superhero to someone or a rockstar for that matter. Quite possibly someone in your life thinks that you are a star in whatever it is you dared to dream.  All I have to say now is keep dreaming no matter how old you get.......

Ah I had a deep moment just now so please pardon me....deep as a puddle but it is more than I am used to. My head is spinning. lol

Looks like I am the only one that wanted to be a Centerfielder and a Track star.

Well TIA When I was young , a few hundred years ago, I wanted to be a shrink. I wanted to specialize in dealing with orphans and neglected children. We have 1.6 millions that go without food or a home everyday. IN THIS COUNTRY. I went to school to do it but then stumbled upon my current occupation during graduate school.

I wanted to be a professional roller derby player. I thought it would be fun to skate around and pound on people for money. Problem: can't skate. Now, I just want to win Mega Millions and take my winnings on the road and play craps at every casino in the world.

If all the money is gone once I reach every casino, then so be it...I will die happy!

For a long time I wanted to be the first female pitcher in the MLB. Of course I sure they would never let a girl do that at least not in the 80's or 90's. You played softball if you were a girl. Actually had a good curve ball at one time and a slider of all things. But then I wanted to be a number of other things. Can't think of right now.

My child has dreams of being this or that , and her plans change daily. I tell her she can be what even she wants .

Lack of talent has never been an impediment to success in entertainment (or any other field for that matter)

Yes at 5'7" it would be rather difficult to be a Center...and well...totally unfair you didn't get to acheive your dream. I wanted to also be a supermodel...only lack the looks. A shame.

I wanted to be a Center in the NBA but I stopped growing at 5'7". Ahh well

being nosy rocks and I am FAN-TAS-TIC at it...

Hey mj- I'm sure your work is awesome. I can barely use a tack properly (too many moving parts..lol)

Retro- um I don't just wanna watch..I want to be on it. You can have mj and I square off or be teammates
